Payout Information
CopClo allows approved artists to earn commission on eligible sales of their approved designs.
This page explains how artist payouts are calculated, when they are issued,
and what information is required in order to receive payment.
Our goal is to keep the payout process transparent,
fair, and easy to understand as the platform grows.
How Artist Payouts Work
Approved CopClo artists may earn commission on eligible sales generated through their approved artwork listings. Payouts are based on completed customer orders and are subject to platform review, fulfillment status, and any applicable deductions such as refunds or chargebacks.
To receive payouts, artists must ensure their payout details are submitted correctly and kept up to date within their artist account settings.
Eligible Sales
- Payouts apply only to approved artwork listed through CopClo.
- Only completed and valid customer orders are eligible for payout calculation.
- Cancelled, refunded, disputed, or fraudulent orders may be excluded from payout totals.
- Payouts are calculated according to the artist commission structure in effect at the time of sale.
Payout Timing
Payouts are not issued immediately after a sale. CopClo may apply a review period to allow time for order fulfillment, delivery, refunds, payment processing, and operational checks before earnings are released.
Payout timing may vary during the early stages of the platform and may be updated as CopClo develops its financial and operational systems.
Minimum Requirements for Payout
Artists may be required to meet certain minimum requirements before a payout can be issued, including completion of payout details and, where applicable, reaching any stated payout threshold.
If minimum requirements are not yet met, eligible earnings may remain pending until the payout conditions are satisfied.
Payout Details
Artists are responsible for providing accurate payout information.
Incorrect, incomplete, or outdated payout details may delay payment until the information is corrected.
Payout Methods
CopClo currently issues artist payouts through supported digital payment providers. At this time, payouts may be processed through services such as PayPal or Wise.
Artists are responsible for ensuring that their payout account information is accurate and capable of receiving international transfers where applicable.
Additional payout methods may be introduced in the future as the CopClo platform continues to grow.
Adjustments and Holds
CopClo reserves the right to place earnings on hold, delay payouts, or adjust payout amounts where necessary. This may happen in cases involving refunds, payment disputes, suspected fraud, policy violations, or issues relating to artist-submitted content.
If action is required from the artist, CopClo may request updated account or payout information before releasing funds.
Taxes and Artist Responsibility
Artists are responsible for understanding and managing their own tax obligations, declarations, and legal responsibilities in their country of residence unless otherwise stated by CopClo in writing.
CopClo may request additional information where reasonably necessary for compliance, accounting, or payout processing purposes.
